Who is actually holding your mortgage? It is certainly not those who claim to have it. This element of the Great British Mortgage Swindle is as invidious as any aspect of the multi-levelled fraud. Your monthly payments may be going to the purported lender (the fake mortgagee) but they are merely collection agents. The mortgage has been sold on to investors. For a variety of reasons which are explained here, the true holder in due course of the mortgage note cannot and will not step forward to make a claim. They need to stay anonymous, quite probably for tax evasion purposes.
For anyone who is facing a false possession claim made by an imposter holder-in-due-course of the mortgage note, this and the TGBMS grounds are the hill on which to stand.

I’ve recently been scammed by the government who conspired with the building industry. Of course I could not find the costs so the management company asked the bank to add £40k to my mortgage for cladding defects, they in turn added compound interest on top of the original loan.
I tried to cut my losses it the cowboy management company ( no legislation in place) failed to produce information for the buyers solicitor. The buyer pulled out. This happened twice over a 12 month period. The flat is now with the banks repossessed team.

Aye, the depth of the fraud and associated criminality is many fathoms deep. The courts are rigged in favour of the banks and their arse-licking lying lawyer lackies. Lien up any CEO who has defrauded you via the non-judicial process which can be read about here
